Welcome back to Warwick Stadium, to our existing and new community members.

As we are all aware, Western Australia has faced a high caseload phase of the COVID pandemic.  We will continue to serve our community, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all members.  We are working hard to abide by the Government’s guidelines, Basketball WA recommendations, and maintain our values.  With this in mind, Warwick Stadium will implement what is required of us by the Government.

At present, the WA Government has eased restrictions.  Our focus remains on our community, member’s well-being and providing a positive and safe experience.  We will continue to provide updates on this page.

To reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and keep others safe please take the following practical actions:

  •  If you are unwell or display any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.
  • Wear your face mask when and where required.
  • Practice physical distancing.
  • Follow the instructions and advice given by The Department of Health.  See here for more information about close contacts.

From the 29th of April, restrictions have been eased such that spectators are now permitted for all levels of sport and competitions.

When we are notified of a COVID-19 positive case, we will notify those who are deemed close contacts.  Please then follow testing and isolation protocols provided by The Department of Health. Your privacy is respected and we will not share confidential information.

  • We will act in accordance to the Department of Health and WA Government’s guidelines.  This may include providing the Department of Health the contact details of those involved in a training, game, program and function.
  • If you feel you should have been contacted and have not, consult the WA Health guidelines that define a close contact and follow the appropriate testing and isolation protocols for your situation, outlined here.
We ask that you respect and be patient as our staff are navigating through this at the same time.  Our staff are working hard to minimise the impact COVID-19 will have on our community.

If you test positive to a RAT test, you MUST report this to the Department of Health.

If you test positive and are comfortable with doing so, advise the Association/Competition you played/trained in within the previous 48 hours, which will assist us to keep our broader community informed.
