Summary
The Duty Manager is a key role with responsibility for oversight of the entire facility and service areas including reception and café. The Duty Manager plays an important role at Warwick Stadium championing our “You Matter” philosophy. If you are great at troubleshooting, taking control, leading with a hands-on approach, physically fit, and have first class customer service and conflict management skills, this might be the job for you! Duty Managers work on a casual shift basis that start early 6am and finish late. approx.10.30pm including all weekend. Pay is based on the award applicable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provision of quality reception service to the Warwick Stadium and Duncraig Recreation Centre community including: first welcoming engagement into the facility, customer facing POS transaction interactions and enquires via phone, digital and in-person
- Stadium Manager outside of regular business hours
- Stadium Manager in an emergency.
- Troubleshoot stadium / facility issues including conflict with customers and staff.
- Supervision of all staff to ensure a quality experience for staff and customers including but not limited to reception, café and games controllers whilst on shift.
- Maintain an awareness of café capacity and redeploy staff or assist at busy periods/events.
- Maintain awareness & assist with standards for cleaning & hygiene throughout the stadium.
- Ensure that the Stadium is operating safely including providing first aid when required and managing emergency situations.
- Facility oversight including opening and closing procedures, setup and pack up of equipment.
- Monitor and rotate stock to maximise financial return and minimise wastage including troubleshooting stock issues
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to listen effectively; give instructions; manage conflict and liaise effectively with staff, suppliers and customers.
- Excellent time management in skills to manage self and other duty requirements.
- Team orientated. Lead by example. Work together with other staff (including reception, café, fitness & sports) to ensure a positive team culture.
- Follow policies and procedures of CCSRA for Warwick Stadium and/or Duncraig Recreation Centre
- Physically able to setup and pack up equipment including but not limited to chairs, tables, sporting nets and poles.
- Organisational skills in stock control, time management, record keeping.
- Cash handling including floats and reconciling takings.
- Technically savvy including use of email, phone, POS and Eftpos.
- Availability to work irregular hours as required including days, weeknights, and weekends.
- Engage with and oversee new staff on shift from time to time.
- Undertake ongoing training related to best practice customer service and food standards.
- Senior First Aid qualified (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing)
- Hold a Barista Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing)
- Hold a Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing)
