Fantech Trade and ODF work together to cool Warwick Stadium

Warwick Stadium has recently undertaken stage two of its airflow improvements across Courts 1-4. Circulation from all corners of the stadium accommodates Warwick’s multi-sport site by maintaining airflow to cool and ventilate the courts. The addition of two large industrial fans above the grandstand on court 1 will also improve the comfort of spectators. Jamie Dunn from Fantech Trade said “It’s great to work in partnership with local businesses and help make a difference within the community”.

Warwick Stadium had some unique challenges as a multisport site regularly hosting basketball, netball, cheerleading and volleyball competitions which limit some options to above-head air circulation options.

Two of our incredible partners, Fantech Trade and ODF Electrical, worked cooperatively to bring about the quality improvements. Chief Operations Officer, Scott Joy, described the improvements as “energy efficient with the quickest turnaround time to implement.” These works add to the existing portable air-conditioning units used on courts 1-4 and fixed units on courts 5 -8.

We value the support from our partners who aim to benefit the whole community of the stadium. Their assistance represents the positive, helpful, and cooperative nature we aim to create here at Warwick Stadium for all our visitors.
