Our sporting facility has 4 indoor courts, which are marked for and can accommodate various sports, including:

Basketball is what we do! We’ve been doing it for 60 years in Western Australia. You may not know, but the first team to represent the State was a Churches of Christ team. We are passionate and serious about basketball and the development of the sport in this state.

Netball is a large contributor to our sporting competitions at the Centre.
The Warwick Senior High School Specialist Netball Program has multiple court sessions through the week here, together with the occasional inter school specialist netball carnivals.

Other Sports

We host a Volleyball WA Domestic competition on Tuesday evenings. We also have up to 6 High Schools each week and their most popular sport is Volleyball. Badminton currently happens on Wednesday morning with two clubs playing on eight courts.

Womens Workout

A fitness community exclusively for women like you

Our lovely staff are all well qualified and are available to assist you with a modified program to accelerate your fitness, or work around an issue or injury. They can also assist you with nutrition and weight loss advice.

At different times on the circuit, they work with everyone adding extra aerobic activity into the circuit, or doing Tabata sessions.

BUT, at the end of the day, you are the one in control, you can work hard, or take it a bit easier.

Our main purpose is to provide a safe, encouraging and nurturing environment for women of all ages. We are not a gym exclusively for the super slim and super fit. We are all ages, all shapes all sizes, and a diverse ethnic mix. We are serious about your health, nutrition, fitness and wellbeing, but at the same time we are women… we look out for each other, we chat, we laugh, we cry together… we are genuine community, we care for you and inevitably the community cares for each other.

The Ark is open Monday to Friday 9am to 12 noon, depending on the needs of classes, courses or sporting programs.
We take our staff to child numbers very seriously, so if you can let the supervisor know in advance, when you child will be in crèche, that would be helpful. This service is only available to parents who remain on the premises whilst being involved in sports, classes or fitness activities.

We are not a registered crèche because we meet certain criteria:
A parent (or carer) must always be on site and available.
We may not care for children under two months old.
There are limits to how long your child may be in our care.
The Crèche is organised into various activity areas so that your child is as well cared for and entertained as we can manage. We try to keep activities as educational as possible.

Most of our workers have full senior first aid certificates and all have a current “working with children check”
